2002 09 03 - Season Wrap-Up: From the Diamond to the Desk

September 3, 2002 — My season with the Gateway Grizzlies has officially come to an end, and what a summer it was. We played 84 games in less than three months with only six off-days. It might be "just baseball," but the physical toll is real—my body is definitely feeling every inning.

Still, I know how lucky I am. I spent the summer getting paid to play the game I love. But now that the season is over, it's time to head back to the "real world." I wanted to check in and see if anyone has leads on open positions in the St. Louis area.

If you keep your eyes open and see any opportunities that seem like a good fit for me, I’d really appreciate the heads-up.
